Quick play: Mad Max (2015)
Today I took about 20 minutes to play Mad Max on the Xbox Series S. You hardly notice that the game is 9 years old. The graphics and game mechanics are great. But the whole thing is trumped by the atmosphere, which captivated me from the very first second.
End-time setting, rust, sand and dirt. Brutality and blood. And then there's a dog. A dog!! With the latter alone, the game would have won me over. Games in which you have a dog as a partner are inherently good. Period.
To be honest, I didn't want to switch off, but I also didn't want to take a 2-hour lunch break. For me, the first impression is incredibly good. I love the movie Mad Max: Fury Road and am therefore more than excited about this game, which is in no way inferior to the movie.
